When my children were little they lived in a sling and now that they carry their dolls and bears around, they have asked me repeatedly to make slings for them. Shortly thereafter I decided to make a doll's sling for dolls them selves (these same slings are used with our Breastfeeding Sets!) What is the difference between a Doll Sling and a Doll's Sling?? What is a Doll Sling? A doll sling is a sling made for a child to wear to carry their doll in. We use 100% cotton fabric and brass rings. These slings can fit children from 3 yrs to 9 yrs and can be made longer to fit an older child. Our current fabric is a lovely orange-ish batik seen below. Our perpetually pajama-ed daughter offered to be the model for the sling. Doll Sling $11.00 each What is a Doll's Sling? A Doll's Sling is a small sling for a doll to wear so that the doll can carry another smaller doll or a teddy bear. We love these since many children have "babies" who have a special stuffed animal or littler doll that is that "baby's" doll. These slings are made to match our Doll Slings. Doll's Sling $4.00 each Fabric Swatch (New swatch coming soon!) The above is our current sling fabric.
Note: None of our slings are intended for use in carrying actual living people or animals-- the rings are not high weight bearing and are intended for dolls and stuffed animals only. Disclaimer: All toys and all dolls are not appropriate for all ages, please use good judgment when choosing the appropriate doll for your child. For all items on our site we recommend a minimum age of 3 years and that children do not put these toys in their mouths.
